We have a commitment to training our staff. We pay tuition fees for our support staff and
lawyers who wish to further their careers by pursuing either NVQ's, Institute of Legal Executive
or Licensed Conveyancers exams.
Trainee Solicitors
We look to recruit at least two trainee solicitors per year. The recruitment of trainee
solicitors is important to us. The vast majority of the assistant solicitors we employ have been
"grown in-house.
When recruiting trainee solicitors we look for the usual qualities, a reasonable degree and
successful completion of the LPC course. We particularly appreciate applications from people
who have previous commercial experience but this does not rule out students straight from
university. Sorry, but we don't offer sponsorship for either law degrees or the LPC course.
Work Experience
During the school or university holidays, we are happy to provide work experience to A level students and undergraduates who
may be considering a career in the law. We don't pay anything because the candidates are usually more trouble than they are
worth, but we guarantee you will get an insight into what a solicitors life is like. You may find out it is not for you!
